Amaterasu duking it out with Crimson Helm in the Gale Shrine. My entry to the Okami contest.
To be honest I'm afraid to saying anything about this picture because I've been staring at it too long. And then there's the fact that it's such a departure from anything else I've done recently. Change (or rather, if you've seen my older stuff, regression) is scary. The color red is scarier. The color magenter is scariest.
Okami. Contest or no I was bound to do a tribute for it sometime anyway. Me and my baby brother are total fanatics for this game and we've played through it more times than I care to mention. I think all that's left to be unlocked on our game is that one pesky Stray Bead you have to race Kai (the wolf girl with the antlers) to get... and I'd get it if I actually had access to a working TV in my apartment. BUT I DON'T, NOT YET ANYWAY HAHAHAHAHagh... ghetto.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
